Denver Breast Lift

Pregnancy, breast feeding and just time can all cause formerly firm and perky boobs to start to look limp and saggy. For women who are serious about getting some bounce back in their chests, a lift can be just the right thing.

There are several different methods available today, each with its benefits and drawbacks. Understanding more about each one will help you decide which one will be best for you.

The Traditional Method

The traditional breast lift technique is also known as the anchor lift. This is because of the shape that the scars make resemble a nautical anchor. The incisions are made around the areola, down the center of the boob and in a gentle curve underneath in the crease.

Extra skin is then removed from the cut skin and the remaining skin is then pulled together and sewn up. This is typically the best solution for those with middle to large breast as the placement of the incisions are designed to support the weight of heavy breasts.

This procedure is great because it leaves the areolas intact to facilitate further breast feeding as necessary. The downside is that the scars will prominent on the breasts, but it does create significant lift for droopy chests.

The Laser Bra Lift

The laser bra Denver breast lift is probably the very best lift method on the market for those with extremely large boobs that cause pain or interfere with normal, everyday life.

This method creates incisions just like the traditional anchor technique except that some of the excess skin is placed inside the bottom of the breast to make a sort of natural bra. The skin provides extra support for the boobs. The result is a natural- looking breast that is perkier and more manageable in daily activities.

A breast lift might not make you this perky, but it will definitely help.

The Doughnut Lift

With the doughnut lift, the plastic surgeon removes a circle of skin, leaving the areola in place as the “doughnut hole.” The skin is then pulled in tighter to meet the areola and it is sutured together. There is some risk of puckering skin at the incision site as the areola circumference is much smaller than the surrounding skin, but the scar is generally less noticeable than that of the traditional method.

This is not an ideal choice for those with large, heavy boobs though as it will put too much pressure on the incisions and possibly create a distortion of the areola shape.

The Crescent Lift

The crescent lift is the least invasive breast lift procedure, but it is really only good for women who have small breasts as larger boobs would be too heavy for the type of incisions. With this method, the surgeon will remove a small crescent shape of skin from above the areola, and then stitch together the areola and the higher skin.

This gives an instant lift to smaller chest women, but it may create egg-shaped areolas for those with heavy boobs. No matter which technique is best for you, a breast lift can be a great way to regain your younger figure and create greater self-confidence in your appearance.
